If you visit the Wende, make sure to go on a Friday @ 11:30am or 3pm. That’s the only time they open the downstairs vault which is where most of the good stuff can be found.

500+ steps are awesome going down but 500+ steps are so not awesome going back up. My inhaler was doing triple time. Due to all the recent exposure in the media, neighborhood opposition has been growing to demolish the remaining structures of Murphy Ranch . I would highly recommend taking a hike down into Rustic Canyon before it all disappears.
