Reviewing where we’ve been, where we’re going and counting down our top 10 most popular posts of the year.
We definitely weren’t a straynger to the range in 2018, as we continued our search for the most amazing places within California’s Mojave Desert, Eastern Sierra and Owens Valley. During the past 12 months, we more than tripled the amount of traffic to our site (thank you for that) and also brought you 19 original posts, 35 unique videos, and 15 awesome events – the majority of which were volunteer oriented.
What I’m most proud about though is what I’ve been able to accomplish as the Volunteer Coordinator at the Wild Burro Rescue and Preservation Project over the past 15 months. Since 9/1/17, I’ve organized 17 events, volunteered over 91 days of my time (I spent many more days there prior to 9/1/17), built up a growing community of awesome volunteers who continue to return to the Rescue after their experience with us at our events and raised awareness/money for the sanctuary and all the animals who call it home.
So what can you expect from us in 2019? Well, once my vintage 1969 Frolic gets delivered to the Wild Burro Rescue in a couple of weeks, expect to see a lot more events like Bunks & Burros, Camp Burro, Donkey Detours and perhaps a couple more new ones in the coming year. I also hope to continue to make Straynger Ranger even better in 2019, by creating even more great content for you to devour.
Now that you know what to expect from us in the coming year, let’s take a look back at the top 10 most popular posts of 2018. Note: This list was based only on the 19 posts published in 2018 and not the 360 total posts currently available at strayngerranger.com.
Thank you for supporting us, we couldn’t do it without you. Don’t forget to follow and like us on Facebook andInstagram for news and updates about our upcoming events, latest posts, and recent stories from our curated collection of other curiosities we’ve gathered from around the web. 2019 is going to be epic and we hope you will continue to follow our adventures or join us on one of our future events. Happy New Year everyone!
