When pop-up urban art happens, you gotta hit it before it’s gone. Checking out artist Calder Greenwood’s latest installation in Elysian Park.
The map may have been a little too easy but surprisingly there was no one else around.
Above a park, along a dirt road…
…it comes into view. The four characters, from the 1985 Atari game Gauntlet: an elf, a magician, a Valkyrie, and generic, loin-clothed warrior.
Artist Calder Greenwood is known for his pop-up paper mache installations which he likes to place in LA’s urban and natural environments.
